This tutorial introduces some ideas and concepts which may be useful when wishing to create mono-, duo- and tritone images without necessarily having to use duotone (Pantone) colours. Also reviewed are methods to create grayscale images with specific objects retaining colour, and general methods to alter image-wide colour qualities.

Sometimes I'm reminded of a great feature when someone asks a question. That happened just last week when someone in the Boot Camp asked about a quick way to change a clipart image from color to grayscale. Of course that is only one function of the find and replace wizard. I've covered some of the most useful things you can do with the wizard and with a little experimentation, I'm sure you can find even more.
